Every year, IBMS members are given research grants to help with unique studies and other appropriate research projects.
The grants awarded are within the range of £500 and £5000. Each year, IBMS members working outside of the UK or the Republic of Ireland may be eligible for a single grant of up to £2500 to fund original research projects and other appropriate research activities.

How to Apply

IBMS research grants are open to current IBMS members only.
You may apply for either a UK and Republic of Ireland or overseas research grant, but you must indicate which type of grant you are applying for on your application form. Please go through Conditions of IBMS Research Grant Awards and Applications before completing your application form.

Deadline

Applications must be submitted by March 31 of the application year; results will be sent to applicants in August.
